In my senior year at North Salem high school, all seniors completed an internship with a mentor of our choosing. I made the decision to intern with our athletic director, Denise Kiernan.
PHOTOGRAPHY
During this internship I created graphics and took photos for all spring sports at North Salem. During this internship I learned extremely valuable time management and organization skills. Not only did I have to manage the internship as well as my school work but I would also often be juggling photographing multiple games a day as well as creating graphics in between or during games.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
I attempted to create a brand for North Salem's Athletics through bright colors and shapes to get people excited for games. My main goal throughtout the internship was to make sure athletes were getting the recognition they deserve by creating something that could be shared easily on social media.
