In my senior year at North Salem high school, all seniors completed an internship with a mentor of our choosing. I made the decision to intern with our athletic director, Denise Kiernan.
PHOTOGRAPHY
During this internship I created graphics and took photos for all spring sports at North Salem. I learned extremely valuable time management and organizational skills. Not only did I have to manage my internship along with my schoolwork, but I would also often juggle photographing multiple games a day as well as creating graphics in between or during games to be posted on social media.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
I attempted to create a brand for North Salem's Athletics through bright colors and shapes to get people excited for games. My main goal throughtout the internship was to make sure athletes were getting the recognition they deserve by creating something that could be shared easily on social media.
